DR. MARYAM MUSAYEV

TECHNICAL ADVISOR

Maryam Musayev holds a Ph.D. in Biology and Biophysics from Johns Hopkins University. She brings expertise on B cell immune responses, antibody repertoire, and applied bioinformatics.

As a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institutes of Health’s Vaccine Research Center (NIAID), she worked on Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2), focusing on neutralizing antibody discovery. Her research combined computational approaches with high-throughput sequencing to define antibody repertoires in humans and identify B-cell mediated protective immune response.

Prior to joining Grüneberg Global IP, Maryam served as a Technical Specialist supporting patent prosecution for a biotechnology group. She also taught biology as Adjunct Faculty at Montgomery College, reflecting her commitment to education and scientific communication.

At Grüneberg, she applies her scientific background to patent applications in life sciences.
