Mr. Takashi Matsuzaki is a Senior Adviser with the Grüneberg and Myers firm. He assists the firm and its clients in comprehending complex administrative and scientific concepts across linguistic and cultural barriers. In particular, his fluency in both English and Japanese, and his background in handling intellectual property from the mindset of Japanese practice, helps to expand the capabilities of the firm.

In his career, Mr. Matsuzaki has worked on intellectual property matters with many Japanese and global corporations in pharmaceutical, life science, chemical, cosmetic, and food science technologies. With over ten years of experience working as a Japanese patent attorney in Japanese patent firms, Mr. Matsuzaki can augment the firm’s ability to consider the viewpoint of Japanese patent practice. His further service with the Japan Patent Attorneys Association on a committee regarding patent system operation informs his analytical approach to understanding patent strategy.
