Partner Eric Myers to Present Patent Law Lunch & Learn in Tysons

TYSONS, Va. (January 17, 2018) – Eric Myers, a partner at Grüneberg and Myers, is presenting a free Patent Law Lunch & Learn at the Forge at FH+H and available globally via livestream on Wednesday, February 7, 2018.

Update: Stream the video of Eric's lecture:

The presentation, tailored especially for entrepreneurs and attorneys who want to know more about intellectual property, will provide a foundation for understanding the patent system. Mr. Myers will explain the differences between patents and other forms of protection like trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets, and then describe the basic requirements for getting a patent, using a patent, and avoiding infringement. Patent law has been evolving recently in important ways, and Mr. Myers will discuss some of the basic ideas behind these new developments.

The Lunch & Learn is a collaborative event between Grüneberg and Myers, an intellectual property law firm, and the FH+H law firm, a corporate law firm. The two firms are located near each other in Tysons, Virginia, an area bustling with entrepreneurship and innovation. Strategic cooperation between smaller-sized law firms can provide an optimal balance between breadth of experience and individualized service.

Virginia Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit will be requested for attorneys attending the Lunch & Learn.

If you are interested in attending the Lunch & Learn, please RSVP on Eventbrite. The livestream will be available via FH+H's Facebook page and afterward on YouTube.
