German IP Experts’ District Group Welcomes Dr. Grüneberg’s Presentation on Patentability after Alice on April 24

BERLIN – The Northeast District of the German Association of Intellectual Property Experts (VPP) will host Dr. Grüneberg for a presentation on April 24, 2018 about Patentability in the U.S. after the Alice decision. The talk will take place at 6:00 pm in the Technischen Informationszentrum (TIZ) Berlin, part of the German Patent and Trademark Office.

In the past few years, a series of U.S. Supreme Court decisions, perhaps most notably Alice Corp. v. CLS Bank, have altered the handling of patentable subject matter questions under U.S. law. Dr. Grüneberg will explain these developments and provide practical advice for European patent professionals involved with U.S. patent concerns.

Dr. Grüneberg will be presenting in English. Full details are available in the VPP Bezirksgruppe Nord-Ost announcement (in German).
