Grüneberg and Myers Celebrates International Women’s Day 2019

On International Women’s Day 2019 and every day, the Grüneberg and Myers firm celebrates women inventors, attorneys, and intellectual property professionals everywhere.

Women have made great gains in recent decades, particularly in areas such as Science, Technology, and Law. The USPTO reports that the number of patents listing at least one woman inventor has increased from only 7% in the 1980s to 21% in 2016. The legal profession, too, has made great strides in including women, with increasing representation in partner ranks within law firms.

Still, women do not yet have equal representation in these challenging but rewarding fields.

As a forward-thinking intellectual property law firm, Grüneberg and Myers supports the continued advancement of women in science, engineering, and law. Opportunities in these professions yield the greatest benefit to us all when they are open to everyone, regardless of gender.

Launched in September 2017, Grüneberg and Myers PLLC is a 100 percent female- and minority-owned international patent firm. With a broad and sophisticated practice, the firm provides a full range of patent support services, including patent prosecution, counseling, post-grant representation, and M&A due diligence to meet the growing and diverse needs of U.S.-based, European, and Asian companies, entrepreneurs, and inventors.
