Partner Eric Myers Named in Super Lawyers Rising Stars List

TYSONS, Va. — Partner Eric Myers appears in the 2019 Super Lawyers Rising Stars list, published today by Thomson Reuters.

Mr. Myers received this listing among Virginia attorneys practicing intellectual property law. The Rising Stars list, which provides rosters of up-and-comers in various areas of law, includes no more than 2.5% of attorneys in any given jurisdiction. Selection, a multiphase process, involves a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates, and peer reviews by practice area.

The listing recognizes the robust growth of Mr. Myers’s practice within his relatively young legal career. Fortune 50, Global Fortune 500, and forward-looking midsize companies trust Mr. Myers to guide their patent applications through to issuance, navigate complex post-grant patent validity challenges, and formulate strategies that give an edge over competitors. Mr. Myers has counseled clients on issues such as international portfolio management, pharmaceutical considerations under the Hatch-Waxman Act, IP aspects of pending mergers and acquisitions, and pre-launch product clearances.

In 2017, Mr. Myers also co-founded the client-focused and efficient practice at Grüneberg and Myers, serving key roles at the firm from involvement in its day-to-day management to co-directing its overall vision.

Launched in September 2017, Grüneberg and Myers PLLC is a 100 percent female- and minority-owned international patent firm. With a broad and sophisticated practice, the firm provides a full range of patent support services, including patent prosecution, counseling, post-grant representation, and M&A due diligence to meet the growing and diverse needs of U.S.-based, European, and Asian companies, entrepreneurs, and inventors.
