Grüneberg and Myers Firm and All Three Partners Earn High Praise from IAM Patent 1000

This week, Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) magazine released its annual guide to the world’s top patent practitioners, recommending the Grüneberg and Myers firm as a whole, and all three of its partners individually, for patent prosecution.

In the highly competitive Washington, DC area, Grüneberg and Myers received a place in the IAM Patent 1000 DC-area listings. Fewer than 30 other firms made the patent prosecution list, which also includes several multicity and multinational AmLaw 100 firms.

Deeming the firm an “exceptional boutique,” IAM cites rave reviews, highlighting the following:

I have worked with several firms on patent matters in recent years, but none has been as professional or attentive to our needs as Grüneberg and Myers – frankly, they’re not even close…. It tracks and monitors every aspect of our filings so our executive team has never had to stress about deadlines or decisions – we are automatically reminded when actions are due and receive detailed recommendations on courses of action at each point in the process. The legal advice has been sound and we’ve secured our patents much quicker than we expected to do so. The practitioners there are always available to answer any questions and respond immediately to our needs; they also provide exceptional value for the reasonable cost of their services.

IAM Patent 1000 has listed Managing Partner Dr. Kirsten Grüneberg repeatedly, including for several years as Managing Partner of the Grüneberg and Myers firm. This year, the guide notes that she “has masterminded continued expansion, rapid growth in business from Asia, success in high-value pharmaceutical projects and the implementation of legal technology to enhance efficiencies.”

Partners Eric Myers and Dr. Richard Chinn debut this year in the IAM Patent 1000 list, with acclaim for their “strategic and business sense” and “deep scientific knowledge.”

A resource for identifying world-class patent attorneys in private practice, the IAM Patent 1000 bases its list not just on buzz, but on interviews with clients and other practicing patent attorneys. The quantitatively-evaluated listings account for depth of knowledge, market presence, level of work, and positive peer and client feedback.
